Before welcoming a Meowtelier kitten home, these Terms help make the journey smooth, thoughtful, and transparent — with every kitten's wellbeing at the heart of it.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all kitten placements and transactions between Meowtelier and any customer who submits an enquiry, application, reservation, or payment through our official channels.
By proceeding with a reservation or payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Meowtelier reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time. The Terms in effect at the time your reservation is confirmed shall apply to your kitten placement.
Payments are accepted only through Meowtelier’s official payment channels, including PayNow, credit card, Grab PayLater, or any other payment method expressly confirmed by Meowtelier in writing.
All applications are subject to acceptance by Meowtelier.
We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or refuse any application at our sole discretion, including where there is a pricing error, the kitten has already been reserved by another approved family, information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, or we have concerns about suitability, welfare, or authenticity.
A placement is confirmed only upon Meowtelier’s written acceptance and receipt of the required reservation deposit.
Pricing for each kitten is listed or provided upon enquiry and may vary depending on breed, colour, pedigree, age, temperament, and availability.
Prices remain subject to change until a reservation deposit has been received and accepted by Meowtelier.
All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars unless otherwise indicated. Full payment must be cleared before the kitten’s handover date.
As required by Singapore’s Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), buyers must complete the mandatory pet ownership course before handover.
The kitten’s licence must also be transferred to, and accepted by, the buyer before the kitten can leave our care. Meowtelier is unable to release any kitten until all licensing and ownership-transfer requirements have been completed.
All reservation fees and kitten payments are final once made. Reservation fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, as they secure a specific kitten or placement and prevent other families from reserving the same kitten.
Meowtelier does not offer refunds for change of mind, change in personal circumstances, inability to proceed, or failure to complete payment within the agreed timeline, except where expressly provided under our Health Guarantee.
If the buyer cancels, fails to complete payment within the agreed timeline, or does not proceed with the placement for any reason, the reservation fee will be forfeited in full.
Meowtelier may, at its sole discretion, release the kitten for reservation by another approved family.
Every kitten leaves Meowtelier vet-cleared, microchipped, vaccinated where age-appropriate, and in good health to the best of our knowledge.
Our Health Guarantee applies only in the limited circumstances below, and only where the condition existed before or at the time of handover and was not disclosed to the buyer.
The Health Guarantee may apply where:
Intestinal or external parasites, minor infections, stress-related digestive upset, or other common treatable conditions are not considered life-threatening, congenital, or hereditary conditions for the purposes of this Health Guarantee.
Where the Health Guarantee applies, the buyer may elect one of the following remedies, one time only:
If the buyer elects the remedy under paragraph (b), the six-month Health Guarantee will end immediately, regardless of the duration remaining.
For the purposes of this section, veterinary fees must be reasonable, supported by itemised receipts, and related to the diagnosis or treatment of the relevant congenital or hereditary condition. This Health Guarantee does not constitute a right to return the kitten.
To claim any remedy under the Health Guarantee, the buyer must comply with all of the following requirements:
In the case of death, Meowtelier may require a necropsy or further veterinary documentation before determining whether any remedy applies.
No refund, reimbursement, or remedy will be available where the illness, injury, or death resulted from:
Kittens cannot be returned due to change of mind or personal circumstances.
However, if your circumstances change and you can no longer care for your kitten, please contact us before rehoming. Where possible, Meowtelier will assist in finding a suitable home through our network.
Where an approved reimbursement is due under the Health Guarantee, it will be processed via the original method of payment where possible.
Bank-transfer reimbursements typically clear within three (3) to seven (7) business days. Card reimbursements may take up to fourteen (14) business days, depending on the issuing bank or payment provider.
Handover dates are confirmed in advance and must be honoured by the buyer.
Responsibility for the kitten’s health, safety, and wellbeing passes to the buyer once the kitten has been handed over and leaves Meowtelier’s care.
We strongly recommend arranging a veterinary check within seventy-two (72) hours of bringing your kitten home.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meowtelier’s total liability in connection with any kitten placement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the buyer for that specific kitten.
Meowtelier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, however arising.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or any kitten placement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
We encourage buyers to contact us first so that any concerns may be resolved informally where possible.
