Buying a kitten in Singapore — FAQ

How much is a British Shorthair kitten in Singapore?
Pricing depends on the kitten's breed, colour, pedigree and registration. Our British Shorthair and British Longhair kittens start from SGD 6,XXX, and Ragdoll kittens from SGD 5,XXX. Please contact us for the latest availability and pricing.
Are your kittens TICA or ANCATS registered?
Where applicable, our kittens are registered with TICA or ANCATS and come with the relevant registration documents or transfer details, alongside DNA-tested parent lines.
Are the kittens vaccinated and microchipped?
Yes. Every kitten goes home vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed, with full health records provided at handover.
Can I visit the kittens before deciding?
Yes — viewings are by appointment at our private kitten lounge in Viva Vista, South Buona Vista, daily 11am–7pm. This keeps the experience calm for both kittens and families.
Do you offer delivery in Singapore?
Yes, island-wide delivery across Singapore can be arranged for families, subject to schedule and handover requirements.
What's included when I bring my kitten home?
Each kitten comes with health records, registration documents where applicable, 1 year of health insurance (incl. outpatient), a starter kit, post-sales support and 10% off at our partner vet.
What does AVS-licensed mean?
AVS is Singapore's Animal & Veterinary Service. An AVS licence means a cattery is legally registered to breed and sell cats here and is held to welfare, health and record-keeping standards, with periodic inspection. Meowtelier's licence number is AS26D00023.
What should I check before buying a pedigree kitten in Singapore?
Confirm the cattery is AVS-licensed, that the parents are DNA-tested, and that the kitten is TICA- or ANCATS-registered and goes home vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Ask to see the paperwork and to meet the kitten in person before placing a deposit.
Why are pedigree kittens more expensive than non-pedigree kittens?
The price reflects DNA-tested, health-screened parents, full veterinary care, pedigree registration and careful in-home socialisation in small batches. A non-pedigree kitten skips most of that — which is also why a suspiciously cheap "pedigree" is usually a warning sign rather than a bargain.
